Mercedes SL (2012): the new R231 scoop
Mercedes is preparing to launch the new SL in 2012, and new concepts CAR reveals how the artist looks at the new Mercedes SL. Mercdedes "top-line roadster seems Doff your hat SLS sports cars and small SLK roadster. It is a slick, conservative style than wait for the SL.
Called R231, the next new Mercedes SL is up. Loosely based on the components of the rear wheels of the unity of the class E, the roadster-coupe gets a longer wheelbase for easy entry and exit to the aging clientele. But Merc is a promising technology cutting edge as well.

Of course. However, the retractable hardtop can now be equipped with a glass roof variable color control called magic of the sky, so you can hide those pesky sun on the Riviera.
The L-shaped headlights give way to more conventional rectangular lights and broadband network will be positioned more upright for better protection of pedestrians. The rear end is dominated by XXL wraparound taillights inspired by the CLS coupe.
What about in the new Mercedes SL?
Inside is a more user-friendly cockpit with improved ergonomics features extended memory access and new seats designed and built in collaboration with BMW.
The most revolutionary innovation is perhaps the active suspension called Magic Ride Control. Development of the ABC active body control, MRC uses a camera that scans the road for potholes and other irregularities. The results are transmitted to the computer ABC, which can react in a split second with an accuracy of one millimeter.

Developed so that the reader expects 20 meters ahead and remain fully active until a speed of 60 mph, it moves away progressively more tense fixed setting. It is not hard enough? Range SL350 powered by a 306bhp 3.5-liter V6. A step up from the ranks of the SL500 with a 435bhp V8 twin-turbo 4.6-liter. 525bhp SL63 AMG, is replaced by the more powerful 5.5-liter twin-turbo 571bhp model for me.
While the whistle 517bhp SL600, SL65 AMG V12 survive in the output of which is tipped to increase from 612 to 630bhp. The seven-speed automatic transmission will eventually be replaced by an even more efficient than nine accelerator module with hybrid integrated.
This should ensure the new SL is more efficient. This may explain why the fuel tank would be down 80 to 75 liters - to make more room for passengers and baggage.
